Good evening and welcome to the Coffin Jockeys’ third release, We Are Monsters. We’ve got six delightful new tunes with which to stab your ear holes, tickle the Halloween-y cockles of your bloody innards, and pull out your guts and use them like a Skip-It, or jump rope, or slurp them up like spaghetti or -- whoops, ha-ha-ha, nevermind that insight. I mean, that’s something we’ll save for later. Don’t mind that little bloody shred of whatever. For now, enjoy the first tune! We’ve got a handful of new tunes for you: Ska, 90s rock, hard rock, pure and utter bliss (chaos). Song to celebrate the Halloween season and gut and drag your bloody body through the streets of -- oh, oh! Ha-ha, sorry. I mean, let’s trick-or-treat! Hang on, hang on, with all your might and let the songs drill into your bones, infest your ears like parasites of dance and death and eat your soul! Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!

She says she wants to be a freak in the streets She says she wants to be one of the creeps She says she wants to party with the midnight army She says she wants to be me She says she has to be me And my baby says … When will all the creeps meet baby? When will they meet? She says I wanna make fear, yeah She says I wanna drink a beer, year She says I wanna scare all the good folks Straight outta here She says I wanna be moonlight creeping Like Adam and the Crows Normalcy, Sanity That ain’t me, that ain’t me She’s creeping down the street She’s creeping down the street She’s creeping down the street She’s my Halloween treat and she says … She wants to play She just wants to roam She wants the night She won’t go home When will all the creeps meet baby? When will they meet? When will all the creeps meet baby? When will they meet? When will all the creeps meet baby? When will they meet? When will all the creeps meet baby? When will they meet?

King of Bats 03:35
Sin no more, king of rats King of bats, bound by blood No more, no more, no more A curse, forever To be dead is to be alive No more, no more My claws on the wheel The cool night I feel, I feel, I feel Dawn is close at hand Sun will spill across the land The highway goes on and on and on Speeding toward the light Giving up the fright Tired of night How I ache, I ache to bite A curse, forever To be dead is to be alive A curse, forever To be dead is to be alive No more, no more My claws on the wheel The cool night I feel, I feel, I feel Dawn is close at hand The sun will soon spill across the land The highway goes on and on and on Speeding toward the light Giving up the fright Tired of night How I ache, I ache … to bite

Be afraid It’s slimy, it’s hairy, it’s scary If it gets loose It’ll carve you up Eyes black as midnight skies It bites. It claws. It flies. It will make you cry. It howls. It growls. It screams. It’s mean. What the hell is it? It’s Pumpkinstein! Happy Halloween.
